Onsite DevOps Lead

Location: Onsite in München, Germany

Salary: €70,000–€80,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead onsite DevOps activities across application development, operations, and maintenance.
• Support frontend and backend development using TypeScript, Vue, Python, Flask, REST, and gRPC.
• Manage Linux servers, Proxmox virtualization, containers, networking, VPNs, routing, and infrastructure automation.
• Monitor service health, analyze logs, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure SLA-driven resolution.
• Perform deployments, patching, backup and recovery, capacity checks, and service maintenance.
• Coordinate with customer teams, L1/L2 support, service management, and development teams, including server maintenance, connectivity validation, and SIM card testing.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience with DevOps, Linux, CI/CD, GitLab, Docker or Podman, SaltStack, and scripting.
• Knowledge of frontend and backend technologies, networking, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, monitoring, and databases.
• Strong communication, ownership, troubleshooting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Fluent English is required; German is desirable.
