Senior Developer (React/TypeScript)

Location: Bogota, Colombia (Hybrid)

Salary: COP 4,000,000–8,000,000 per month

What you will do

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications, APIs, and production tools supporting creative and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, QA, and other stakeholders to define requirements and scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to architecture planning and recommend improvements to infrastructure, tooling, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and scalability concerns across development environments.
• Review code and mentor junior developers while promoting quality engineering practices.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in an agency, production, or creative technology environment.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend framework experience, including React, Next.js, or Vue.
• Backend experience with Node, Python, or similar technologies, plus RESTful APIs and SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of security, performance optimization, responsive design, Agile/Scrum, Git workflows, testing, and deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
