Cost Accounting Financial Analyst (Finance/Accounting): Analyzing, reconciling, and reporting financial and operational results while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and book-closing activities with an accent on variance analysis, financial controls, and reporting compliance. Focus on extracting financial data, interpreting financial statements, developing forecasts, and providing recommendations to internal stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Extract and analyze financial data, diagnose financial drivers, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial analysis for functions or business units and support business initiatives with actionable analytics.
  • Support monthly expense and capital reviews, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Interpret forecasts, budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow documents.
  • Support book closing, trend analysis, financial forecasting, and compliance of internal and external reporting.
  • Contribute to priority projects through research, data analysis, standardized reporting, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
  • Typically 0–2 years of experience in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of accounting, auditing, corporate finance, financial analysis, financial modeling, and financial statements.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, internal controls, KPIs, and process improvement.
  • Experience or knowledge of SAP applications is relevant to the role.
  • Effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.

Nice to have

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
