Manager, Quality Engineering

Location: Irvine, California, United States; onsite role

Base pay: $109,500–$179,900 per year, depending on the geographic market.

What you will do

• Lead quality engineering activities covering design controls, risk management, and validation.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily work of quality team members.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate across functions to improve product quality and reliability.
• Perform audits, maintain quality records and trend analyses, and lead continuous improvement and cost of poor quality reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in quality engineering or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and statistical tools.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
