Sr. Analyst, IT Quality Assurance

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site and other days remote. The posting also states that the role will be on-site full-time.

What you will do

• Develop and execute test scenarios and scripts for functional system integration and acceptance testing across multiple platforms.
• Translate business and functional requirements, use cases, designs, and specifications into testing requirements.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing activities for projects involving multiple teams and onsite and offshore resources.
• Work with test leads, business stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to establish test plans, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor adherence to quality standards, provide testing status reports, and ensure compliance throughout the software development life cycle.
• Troubleshoot complex testing issues, maintain test system configurations, present results, and provide technical training to less experienced employees.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience with the Software Testing Life Cycle, QA approaches, and testing tools and techniques.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a technical discipline.
• Ability to analyze, anticipate, and resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada and, where applicable, a valid work or study permit.
• Strong analytical thinking, group problem solving, test case design, testing methodology, and troubleshooting skills.
