What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable data platforms across ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics workloads.
• Develop data pipelines with Apache NiFi, Python, and SQL, integrating APIs and enterprise systems.
• Define data models, schemas, data contracts, and Interface Control Documents for reliable system integration.
• Drive data quality, governance, lineage, metadata management, and traceability standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, data scientists, and customer stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.

Requirements

• Active DV clearance is required.
• Proven experience delivering data engineering solutions in complex project or production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL, including scalable data pipeline development and optimisation.
• Expertise with Apache NiFi and data orchestration across multiple sources and systems.
• Experience with data models, schemas, data contracts, integration frameworks, REST APIs, Parquet, and S3-compatible object storage.
• Experience supporting data platforms in OpenShift or Kubernetes environments, plus knowledge of GitLab CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
