Senior Business Operations Analyst (AI)

Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid setup with 2 days of home office per week and up to 4 additional weeks of fully remote work during summer and December.

What you will do

• Lead analytical and operational improvement projects within the Quality, Compliance & Fraud team.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define solutions, influence decisions, and drive implementation.
• Challenge and redesign existing processes and business requirements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Translate data and business insights into recommendations, decision frameworks, and implementation plans.
• Use SQL, data, and AI-powered tools to develop analytical solutions and automate operational workflows.
• Design KPIs, dashboards, monitoring frameworks, documentation, and reusable analytical practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative or analytical field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, operations, consulting, fraud, risk, or a related analytical role.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to write, understand, and adapt queries.
• Ability to own projects, define requirements, prioritize work, coordinate stakeholders, and drive initiatives.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AI tools for automation, prototyping, or analytical solutions.
• Python or other scripting experience for data manipulation, automation, or prototyping.
• Experience with process transformation or operational excellence initiatives.
