Director, Hedge Fund Accounting – Dublin

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work model with regular office presence.

What you will do

• Lead fund accounting relationships for strategic hedge fund clients.
• Manage experienced fund accounting staff and ensure accurate, timely delivery of client deliverables in line with service-level agreements.
• Oversee NAV delivery, financial reporting, Irish regulatory reporting, and the fund accounting control environment.
• Serve on the Dublin senior leadership team and contribute to business strategy, governance, and development.
• Build partnerships across Investor Services, Operations, Technology, Risk and Compliance, and other global functions.
• Lead initiatives focused on scalability, operational resilience, client experience, efficiency, and automation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in fund accounting, fund administration, asset servicing, or investment operations, including significant senior-management experience.
• Senior leadership experience in fund accounting or audit.
• Experience with NAV oversight, fund accounting controls, financial reporting, and audit oversight.
• Experience with Irish regulatory reporting, including MMIF, SPV/FVC, and DIFR.
• Experience in senior client relationship management, operational risk and governance, transformation, and process improvement.
• Experience leading senior managers and geographically dispersed teams; professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CAIA, CFA, or CIMA are desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with DAC products and hedge fund or complex alternative investment structures.
• Technology implementation experience, including AI deployment.
