TL;DR
FE Software Engineer IV (React Native) (Fintech): Building and optimizing Zilch’s mobile app with an accent on performance, memory optimization, secure integrations, and robust mobile components. Focus on technically designing complex app improvements, bridging APIs and backend components, and streamlining mobile testing and deployment.
Location: Hybrid, London Victoria, UK — on-site 3 days per week

What you will do
- Design and refine technical improvements for the mobile app, including performance, memory optimization, animations, and third-party integrations.
- Build secure, well-tested, highly performant mobile components.
- Work with APIs and backend components to store and process information securely and effectively.
- Improve code, systems, engineering practices, and internal mobile developer experience.
- Streamline app testing and deployment processes.
- Collaborate in an agile environment on customer-impacting user stories and support ad hoc technology development.
Requirements
- 6+ years of overall software development experience.
- 4+ years of TypeScript development experience.
- 4+ years of experience with React.
- 4+ years of experience developing iOS and Android React Native applications.
- Availability to work on-site at the London Victoria office 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience with other mobile development systems and languages.
- Experience bridging React Native with native code.
- Experience with Appium, Maestro, PactFlow, Firebase, CodePush, or Bitrise.
- Experience with Styled Components, AWS, AWS Lambda, or Content Management Systems such as Contentstack.
