Intern in Project Finance & Infrastructure (PFI), Strategy & Transactions

Location: Onsite in Tashkent or Astana

EY provides advisory services in project and corporate finance and supports the preparation and implementation of investment and infrastructure projects.

What you will do

• Assist with tender documentation, investment agreements, presentations, analytical materials, and other project deliverables.
• Collect, structure, and analyze financial, economic, and market information.
• Support corporate and project finance engagements and prepare proposals for potential clients.
• Contribute to business development and promotion of advisory services.
• Prepare internal project documentation and provide administrative support when required.
• Collaborate with project team members on day-to-day tasks.

Requirements

• University degree or final-year studies in Finance, Corporate Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in corporate finance, project finance, investments, and infrastructure projects.
• Good command of English and Russian, including written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and work with large amounts of information.
• Attention to detail, responsibility, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn quickly, and motivation for continuous professional development.

Nice to have

• Preparation for the CFA and/or CP3P examinations.
• Participation in student organizations, case competitions, volunteering, or research projects.
• Previous internship or work experience involving financial, analytical, management, or business analysis tasks.
• Experience preparing analytical reports, structured presentations, or financial materials.
