What you will do
- Develop core application frameworks and reusable UI components with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern CSS.
- Optimize frontend performance through lazy loading, memoization, bundling strategies, and effective state management.
- Collaborate with Python/FastAPI backend engineers on RESTful and GraphQL API integrations.
- Translate Figma and UXPin wireframes and design systems into consistent, functional interfaces.
- Lead sprint-level UI delivery, support planning and estimation, track velocity, and manage cross-team dependencies.
- Troubleshoot complex UI defects and production issues while contributing to CI/CD and frontend DevOps workflows.
Requirements
- Professional experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, Redux, Context API, or Zustand.
- Strong knowledge of CSS3, SASS, Flexbox, Grid, Tailwind, or Material UI.
- Experience with REST or GraphQL, Axios, JSON Schema, and frontend testing with Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Experience using Webpack or Vite, Git, GitHub, and frontend version-control workflows.
- Ability to collaborate with UX designers, product owners, architects, AI teams, and backend engineers.
- Role location is DXC Manila IPC McKinley Hill, Taguig City, Philippines, with in-person collaboration prioritized.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating AI-driven UI elements such as chat widgets, dashboards, or data visualizations.
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud, Terraform, Docker, Halstack Design System, and WCAG compliance.
- Exposure to Python, FastAPI, or Flask for full-stack collaboration.
