TL;DR
AI Adoption Intern (AI/Quality Analytics): Designing and deploying AI agents, automated workflows, and analytics solutions for global quality processes with an accent on process automation, machine learning, and operational decision-making. Focus on integrating OpenAI APIs, analyzing large datasets, and building tools that accelerate root-cause investigations and reduce manual effort.
Location: Teparuk, Thailand; onsite role with no travel

develops and manufactures hard disk drive components, including nano-recording heads, while its Operations Quality & Analytics organization develops quality analytics and operational improvement solutions.
What you will do
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve Global Quality processes through AI agents, automation, and workflow solutions.
- Analyze and document current business processes, operational requirements, and user needs.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions, automated workflows, analytics tools, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Integrate AI solutions into quality processes to accelerate root-cause investigations and improve operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and continuously enhance deployed solutions to maximize business value and user adoption.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of statistics and machine learning, including regression, clustering, classification, and anomaly or outlier detection.
- Experience integrating OpenAI text and vision APIs into internal tools, analytics pipelines, or inspection workflows.
- Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyOD, and Statsmodels.
- Knowledge of databases, SQL, data management, large datasets, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Strong spoken and written English and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline development.
- Basic knowledge of Hadoop or Apache Spark.
