VP Product Quality (Medtech)

Location: Northfield, Illinois, United States; travel required, including up to 20% for business purposes.

Salary: $234,000–$351,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead and set the strategic direction for Quality Assurance functions across assigned product divisions.
• Coordinate with Corporate Quality and division leadership to maintain compliance with US FDA, EU MDR, cGMP, and other applicable requirements.
• Direct quality activities for new product development and new supplier qualification.
• Develop training programs, approve process and procedural changes, and maintain effective quality systems.
• Build, mentor, and manage QA teams, including staffing, performance management, motivation, and development.
• Coordinate communication with quality leaders, divisional personnel, customers, and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 7 years of QA-related experience in a business environment.
• At least 5 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing employees.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceutical, personal care, or food.
• Intermediate proficiency with relevant computer programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within and outside the state.
