Emergency Medical Responder

Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; primarily weekend work and all assigned shifts.

What you will do

• Deliver patient care in accordance with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics EMR Clinical Practice Protocols.
• Safely operate and maintain emergency response vehicles, keeping them stocked and ready for service.
• Work in hazardous environments to ensure patient safety and stabilization.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and follow the established chain of command.
• Complete patient assessments, electronic patient care reports, and incident reports accurately and on time.
• Protect patient confidentiality and handle conflict and media-related requests professionally.

Requirements

• Registered EMR with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver’s License or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current clean criminal record check and vulnerable sector check, issued within the required timelines.
• Current driver’s abstract issued within the last 30 days.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, professionalism, confidentiality, attendance, and ability to work all assigned shifts.
