What you will do
- Build, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for analytics and business intelligence.
- Implement data lakes, warehouses, and integration layers supporting data strategies.
- Develop data-source, third-party, and analytics-platform integrations and APIs.
- Implement data quality checks, governance, monitoring, security, and privacy practices.
- Collaborate with data managers, data scientists, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Optimize pipeline performance, query efficiency, storage costs, documentation, and engineering workflows with AI tools.
Requirements
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with Databricks or Snowflake and data warehousing solutions such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Strong experience developing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Proficiency with SQL and at least one of Python, Scala, or Java.
- Understanding of data modeling and database design principles, plus experience with international clients.
- Good English at B2 level or above; Spanish communication in reading, writing, and speaking is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Stitch, or other modern data stack tools.
- Experience with Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis, or other streaming data platforms.
- Cloud platform or data engineering certifications.
