Support Engineer

Location: NYC (SoHo), United States; hybrid schedule with in-office work required on Mondays and Wednesdays. The work week runs from Saturday through Wednesday.

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 base salary, plus equity.

What you will do

• Resolve technical product issues, bugs, and usage questions through customer support tickets.
• Provide technical guidance while meeting ticket volume and resolution-time targets.
• Collaborate with Support to communicate user needs across Replit.
• Contribute to and maintain the Support knowledge base.
• Support customer-facing outage and incident communications.
• Report ongoing bugs to Engineering for triage and resolution.

Requirements

• Prior software development or relevant technical support experience.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume support environments with productivity metrics.
• Strong time management, ticket triage, communication, and reporting skills.
• Experience with support tools and ticketing systems such as Zendesk.
• Experience with IDEs, terminals, or other developer tools.
• Recent use of Replit within the last 3–6 months.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
• Experience building or maintaining automation and self-healing systems.
