What you will do

• Coordinate and support Principal Investigators and clinical research teams across the full lifecycle of research protocols.
• Review studies for implementation feasibility and guide protocol review, revision, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain clinical nursing research policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines.
• Review research-related deviations and workflow events, report findings, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Guide, orient, train, mentor, and support clinical research nurses and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide clinical nursing support during adverse events, emergencies, difficult clinical situations, and inpatient or outpatient activities.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license required.
• BSN and at least two years of related clinical experience.
• Experience in clinical trials.
• Certification in the relevant clinical specialty.
• CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Onsite work in Chicago, Illinois is required.

Nice to have

• Master of Science in Nursing.
• Membership in a professional nursing organization.
• ACLS certification where required.
• SOCRA or ACRP certification.
