Placement Year - NWE / UK Communications Intern

Location: Reading, Berkshire, United Kingdom; onsite at hirify.global’s Reading headquarters with hybrid working as standard and occasional travel

hirify.global is a global technology company with communications teams supporting international campaigns, events, and corporate affairs.

What you will do

• Analyse and produce weekly and quarterly product-specific media coverage reports.
• Support communications campaigns and events, including logistics and briefing books.
• Attend and support influencer and press events through logistics, badging, and social media assistance.
• Help pan-European managers align local markets with communications priorities.
• Write LinkedIn posts that can be adapted for European markets.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Affairs team and external agencies on communications activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university degree programme and required to complete a formal placement year as part of the course.
• Available for a 13-month industrial placement from 1 July 2027 to 31 July 2028.
• Able to work onsite at the Reading headquarters with hybrid working as standard.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
• Experience or understanding of LinkedIn for communications purposes and the ability to create distinct draft posts.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.

Nice to have

• Intermediate or workplace proficiency in German.
• Experience working with external agencies or supporting communications events.
