Software Engineer (PHP/Vue): Building an international business-events platform with an attendee registration form builder and an API for mobile event schedules, networking, and tickets with an accent on modular backend services, Vue 3 interfaces, and third-party integrations. Focus on designing DDD-based services, optimizing Doctrine/MySQL data access, covering changes with automated tests, and deploying and troubleshooting production systems.

Location: Remote from Serbia

What you will do

  • Design new modular services and support existing backend services.
  • Build markup, widgets, and Vue 3 user interfaces.
  • Design Doctrine entities and optimize MySQL queries.
  • Develop REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
  • Write unit and functional tests and maintain technical documentation.
  • Deploy services and troubleshoot production issues.

Requirements

  • Production experience developing and maintaining PHP/Symfony applications.
  • Experience structuring modular applications and familiarity with DDD.
  • Experience building REST APIs and integrating services.
  • Experience with Vue 3, including layouts, UI behavior, and API integration.
  • Experience with MySQL and Doctrine, including entity design, query-plan analysis, and slow-query optimization.
  • Ability to read and write technical documentation and tickets in English.
