Senior JCDC Cyber Triage Analyst

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; on-call support may be required for critical incidents.

What you will do

• Conduct advanced triage and analysis of complex, high-severity cyber threat intelligence and IOC packages.
• Perform IOC enrichment using classified and unclassified intelligence sources.
• Coordinate joint threat assessments with FBI, NSA, USCYBERCOM, and other interagency partners.
• Author threat assessments and intelligence briefs for JCDC leadership and partner organizations.
• Mentor analysts, review analytical products, and develop triage playbooks, decision matrices, and analytical tradecraft.
• Lead projects that improve triage processes, automation, threat detection, and operational capabilities.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• An active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain DHS Suitability are required.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in threat intelligence, SOC operations, or cyber incident response.
• Expertise in malware analysis, threat actor attribution, cyber campaign analysis, threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, and analytical frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and intelligence-driven cyber defense, with experience coordinating federal stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, or a high school diploma with 7+ years of directly relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Federal cybersecurity experience with CISA, FBI, NSA, or DoD.
• Experience with CISA NCISS, threat hunting, proactive detection, and vulnerability categorization.
• Knowledge of attack stages, computer network defense policies, operational threat environments, and foreign adversary capabilities.
• Published threat intelligence research, advanced certifications such as CISSP, GCTI, GCFA, or GREM, or a master’s degree.
