What you will do
- Lead and develop a high-performing software engineering team through coaching, feedback, performance management, and career development.
- Plan and coordinate cross-functional delivery, maintaining visibility into progress, capacity, metrics, risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.
- Drive software quality, operational excellence, incident follow-up, continuous improvement, and reliable delivery of business outcomes.
- Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align technical execution with shared objectives.
- Participate in technical discussions, design and architecture reviews, and pull request reviews.
- Promote scalable, secure, resilient, maintainable systems and sound long-term technical decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, software delivery, or related technical roles, including leadership of engineers, technical initiatives, or cross-functional delivery.
- Experience leading software engineering teams in an agile or iterative delivery environment.
- Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, employee development, and team building.
- Understanding of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, software delivery lifecycles, monitoring, observability, incident management, and reliability fundamentals.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, risks, dependencies, stakeholder expectations, and team capacity.
