DevOps Automation (Platform) Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD platforms and supporting infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Design and operate Kubernetes container platforms, including Azure and Rancher/RKE2 environments.
• Develop reusable CI/CD pipelines, templates, automation scripts, and infrastructure delivery solutions.
• Package and deploy applications with Helm charts and Kubernetes-native deployment mechanisms.
• Administer and upgrade platform components, application servers, and build agents while supporting development teams.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer, and report on platform metrics such as cycle time, uptime, error rates, and usage.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience, including 3 years administering Azure DevOps Server and 2 years deploying applications on Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent minimum education level 6 qualification.
• At least one internationally recognised certification: CKAD, CKA, or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge of Azure DevOps Server and Azure DevOps Services administration.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD design, automation, DevOps practices, containerisation, Helm, operators, and Kubernetes deployment pipelines.
• Strong English communication, collaboration, and documentation skills are required.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
• Experience with Terraform or Puppet and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
