Student Worker in Sustainable Operations

Location: Billund, Denmark. Hybrid work with an average of 3 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Analyze energy data, create forecasts, and model consumption to support operational and sustainability decisions.
• Calculate business cases for energy efficiency and decarbonization projects, including investment approvals and savings reporting.
• Track projects, team activities, follow-up actions, processes, governance structures, and climate and carbon methodologies.
• Develop Excel and PowerPoint dashboards, data visualizations, and management reports.
• Create presentations, one-pagers, and storytelling materials to communicate sustainability initiatives and engage stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least two years remaining before graduation.
• Strong analytical skills in data analysis, forecasting, and modelling.
• Interest in sustainability, climate strategy, energy management, renewable energy, and decarbonization.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Availability for approximately 15–20 hours per week during the semester.
