Senior Engagement Manager, FDE (Data & AI)

What you will do

• Help customers accelerate value through adoption of the Databricks platform, Forward Deployed Engineering engagements, and training programs.
• Partner with Sales, Field Engineering, Partners, Support, and Product teams to position and sell customer programs.
• Identify new service opportunities, articulate business value, and develop commercial models that address customer budget constraints.
• Consult with customers to define engagement scope, requirements, timelines, costs, and expected benefits.
• Estimate effort, scope services, and develop statements of work.
• Resolve delivery challenges, resource constraints, and scoping issues while managing customer expectations.

Requirements

• Data and AI domain knowledge, including experience helping customers achieve business value through production implementations.
• Senior customer-facing or services sales experience involving influencing, validation, negotiation, and execution.
• Strong customer relationship, communication, leadership, service delivery, and program management skills.
• Experience with project governance, delivery excellence, effort estimation, service scoping, and KPI ownership.
• Native-level English and professional working proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa, both written and verbal.
