PMO & Automation Analyst Trainee (Python/Power BI)

Location: Madrid, Spain. Onsite, 6-month internship starting in September 2026. No travel required.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automations for repetitive business tasks, file consolidation, data cleansing, and report generation using Python.
• Build workflows in Microsoft Power Automate to streamline business processes and approvals.
• Maintain PMO portfolio dashboards, project trackers, status reports, Excel models, and Power BI KPI reporting.
• Consolidate and transform data from multiple sources with Power Query while maintaining data quality and governance standards.
• Support Jira reporting, dashboards, project tracking, and API-based data extraction and integrations.
• Prepare draft presentations and meeting minutes, coordinate meetings, and maintain structured documentation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's degree programme in Information Technology or Engineering.
• Eligible for an internship agreement with a university or academic institution.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in process automation, data management, analytics, reporting, systems integration, and project governance.
• English: almost fluent level required.
• Familiarity with PMI, Agile, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience integrating systems through APIs and automated data exchanges.
