Location: Remote in Germany; field-based role covering Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with regular travel, overnight travel, and congress attendance as needed.

What you will do
- Build scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, centers of excellence, academic institutions, professional societies, and medical organizations across the DACH region.
- Provide accurate, fair-balanced, non-promotional scientific and medical exchange, presentations, medical information updates, and responses to unsolicited questions.
- Gather and communicate actionable medical insights to support local and EMEA medical strategies, scientific planning, and patient-focused initiatives.
- Develop territory plans and identify educational gaps, diagnostic pathways, referral patterns, center-mapping opportunities, and unmet needs in rare diseases.
- Support clinical development, clinical trial site identification, investigator engagement, investigator-sponsored research, real-world evidence, and publication activities.
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Market Access, Commercial, Regulatory, PV/QA, and EMEA colleagues on launch readiness and pipeline execution.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in a clinical, medical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences discipline preferred, such as MD, PhD, PharmD, MSc, MSN, or MPH.
- 1–3 years of relevant Medical Affairs, field medical, clinical, scientific, or pharmaceutical industry experience; prior MSL/MSM experience preferred.
- Strong scientific acumen, including scientific literature analysis, clear communication of complex data, and translation of external insights into medical strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to build credible external relationships, present clinical and scientific information, and work independently in a field-based role.
- Fluent German and English required.
- Activities must follow company policies, SOPs, local codes, and applicable regulations, including support for German HTA and AMNOG processes.
Nice to have
- Experience with rare diseases or orphan drugs, particularly metabolic, genetic, or advanced therapy-related disease areas.
- Additional language skills relevant to Switzerland.
