Commissions Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Deliver accurate and timely commission payments in line with compensation governance standards.
• Audit commission results, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues before payment.
• Analyze sales and commission data to provide actionable insights for business leaders.
• Support sales employees with questions about compensation plans and commission payments.
• Improve commission processes, reporting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Finance, Human Resources, Sales, and other business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and one to two years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, commissions, sales operations, or a related analytical field.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and discrepancy investigation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accurate, high-quality work.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Collaborative, adaptable communication style for working across multiple teams.

Nice to have

• Experience administering sales compensation plans or processing commission payments.
• Familiarity with Xactly or another incentive compensation management platform.
• Experience with sales reporting, financial analysis, or business insights.
