What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Game Economy Managers.
- Own the economic health of Solitaire games by monitoring currencies, resources, sinks, sources, and inflation.
- Build economic models and simulations, tune feature configurations, and solve complex economy challenges using data.
- Design the economic aspects of tournaments, LiveOps events, progression systems, rewards, and other game features.
- Plan, prioritize, and analyze complex A/B tests, turning results into actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Product, Monetization, Game Design, Analytics, and Engineering while presenting economic recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a Game Economy role within the gaming industry, ideally in free-to-play mobile games.
- Experience leading or mentoring analysts or economists.
- Deep knowledge of game economies, including sinks and sources, inflation control, rewards, progression, retention, and monetization.
- Experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests.
- Strong SQL skills and experience building economic models and simulations with Excel, Google Sheets, Python, or R.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. A relevant degree or equivalent background in engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, or computer science is required.
Nice to have
- Experience using AI tools and LLMs such as Claude or ChatGPT for analysis, modeling, and research.
- Experience with skill-based, competitive, or tournament-based games.
