TL;DR
Junior Technical Accountant with German Language (Temporary Role) (Insurance/Reinsurance): Managing and analyzing client accounting data for a portfolio of insurance companies and brokers with an accent on treaty verification, discrepancy resolution, and cash flow management. Focus on investigating accounting data, booking transactions, and communicating with internal departments and clients in German and English.

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid role

Salary: EUR 1,300–2,200 per month for a full-time role, plus a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

  • Administer a portfolio of client accounts, primarily for insurance companies and brokers.
  • Verify client data against reinsurance treaties.
  • Investigate discrepancies and communicate with internal departments and clients.
  • Analyze accounting data, book transactions, and manage cash flow.
  • Interpret accounting information and proactively resolve issues.

Requirements

  • German written and spoken at strong B1 or B2 level.
  • English proficiency in written and spoken communication.
  • Analytical skills and an aptitude for working with numbers.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, diligent, communicative, and proactive approach.
