Fullstack Engineer (Elixir/Phoenix)

Location: Remote, with candidates based in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, or the United States

Salary: $190,000 USD per year, plus competitive equity grants

What you will do

• Own customer journeys spanning sign-up, first deployment, production usage, billing, and administration.
• Build front-end experiences and interaction designs alongside backend functionality.
• Stitch APIs across engineering verticals to deliver cross-product features.
• Investigate existing code, telemetry, and reliability issues where product seams break down.
• Ship tightly scoped features and refine them rapidly using user feedback.
• Develop product ideas independently without relying on a dedicated product manager for roadmaps or feature breakdowns.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience as a fullstack engineer.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Comfort working with Go, Ruby, JavaScript, and other languages or frameworks.
• Ability to understand ambitious features implemented across many software layers, including systems owned by other teams.
• Strong focus on reducing scope, shipping important customer outcomes, and iterating from user feedback.
• Comfort using AI and coding agents while keeping human review in the delivery process.
