Regional Financial Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia; regional travel of approximately 10–20% may be required.

What you will do

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance across multiple regional entities.
• Consolidate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results.
• Implement and monitor internal controls, corporate governance policies, and audit readiness.
• Manage external and internal audits in collaboration with audit firms and country finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, local tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead improvements to financial systems, reporting processes, and operational performance while supporting strategic decisions, due diligence, and integration projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional certification required.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 2–3 years in external or internal auditing.
• Experience in regional or multi-country financial management.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations across multiple markets.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel; fluent English required.
