What you will do

  • Provide strategic leadership for the Global Payments function and build a scalable, resilient, globally consistent operating model.
  • Drive technology, automation, and transformation initiatives with Technology and Product teams to increase straight-through processing and reduce manual intervention.
  • Lead bank connectivity, payment platform enhancements, and integrations across internal and external banking systems.
  • Oversee accurate, secure, and timely client, investor, fund, treasury, and corporate payments.
  • Establish global standards, controls, service levels, KPIs, management reporting, and risk reporting.
  • Lead payment investigations, operational resilience, third-party providers, business continuity, capacity planning, and the development of a geographically dispersed leadership team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 10–15 years of experience in treasury and payments, ideally in fund services, asset servicing, or financial services.
  • At least 5 years of senior leadership experience with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience building, scaling, or transforming global operational functions.
  • Deep knowledge of treasury and payment operations, including SWIFT, wire payments, banking platforms, correspondent banking, and payment routing.
  • Knowledge of cross-border payments, foreign exchange, multi-currency cash management, KYC, AML, sanctions, and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity, or real estate funds.
  • Strong programme, change management, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
