Facilities Associate (Retail Facilities)

Location: Denver, Colorado; physical retail, in-store position

Salary: $25.00–$27.00 per hour; fixed entry rate for new hires is $25.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform general maintenance across plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, building systems, and safety devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with material handling systems and facility equipment independently.
• Operate floor sweepers and scrubbers to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Handle hazardous materials according to OSHA standards and follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety checklists.
• Complete daily logs, inspection reports, and work-order documentation using written or computer-based systems.
• Support store operations and take on additional duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of facilities maintenance or general building operations experience required.
• Experience with hand and power tools, blueprints, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot facilities issues and operate pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and aerial lifts safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs unassisted for some tasks; ability to climb, bend, crawl, kneel, and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Availability for variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional unscheduled overtime.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and follow all workplace safety protocols.
