Senior Software Engineer (Dev Infra)

Location: San Jose, United States; fully in-person up to 5 days per week

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate developer platforms and release toolchains for backend and platform services.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, compilers, build chains, artifact repositories, test infrastructure, and cloud deployment workflows.
• Improve software delivery speed, reliability, security, and compliance for engineers and autonomous development agents.
• Implement software supply chain security controls, including SBOM validation, artifact signing, attestation, and provenance tracking.
• Automate security and compliance gates such as secrets scanning, dependency risk analysis, license checks, and vulnerability scanning.
• Lead technical execution, design reviews, engineering standards, resilience improvements, disaster recovery testing, and roadmap delivery.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional industry experience.
• Deep programming proficiency in Go, Python, or Node, with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining large-scale CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Experience with a major cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI, including IAM concepts.
• Practical experience with artifact repositories such as Docker, JFrog Artifactory, or Nexus.

Nice to have

• Experience in platform engineering or developer productivity teams.
• Experience building internal tools and templates for engineers.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container security.
• Experience writing technical documentation for security processes and runbooks.
