GCS Commercial Product Supply Specialist (Pharmaceutical Supply Chain)

Location: Hybrid, based onsite at the hirify.global Costa Rica (The Village) site in Escazú, averaging 2.5 days onsite per week. Periodic meetings with global teams may take place across multiple time zones, including outside regular business hours. Travel to other hirify.global sites may be required at approximately 10%.

What you will do

• Execute sourcing and procurement activities for non-hirify.global commercial products and comparators from request initiation through delivery, release, completion, or disposition.
• Maintain demand records, milestones, forecasts, financial information, and risk data in Clementine.
• Research product availability, pack configurations, pricing, lead times, documentation requirements, and study-readiness considerations.
• Coordinate approved supply plans, purchase requisitions, supplier activities, deliveries, logistics documentation, international shipments, recalls, and temperature-excursion follow-up.
• Collaborate with Clinical Supply, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, Clinical Research Pharmacy, study teams, and external suppliers.
• Identify operational and process-improvement opportunities, resolve routine issues, and escalate significant supply, quality, cost, or timeline risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, sourcing, clinical supply, or a related operational function.
• Experience coordinating supply requirements, sourcing activities, procurement, or supply chain execution within established plans.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, organization, prioritization, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving, regulated environment while maintaining quality, compliance, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with clinical supply operations, comparator sourcing, pharmaceutical supply chains, or clinical trial operations.
• Experience in a global regulated environment and knowledge of documentation or regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience with Clementine, SAP/Ariba, GDMS, demand planning, procurement, document management, or financial tracking systems.
• Knowledge of good distribution practices, temperature-excursion management, recalls, or international shipment coordination.
• Advanced coursework, certification, or specialized training in project management, supply chain, business administration, or a scientific or clinical discipline.
