TL;DR
Sr. Consultant, Risk Analytics (SQL/BI/Risk Management): Developing wholesale credit risk reporting and analytics for business partners, senior management, and regulators with an accent on IFRS9 expected credit loss reporting, data quality, and risk data analysis. Focus on translating business requirements into test cases, managing end-to-end testing, and ensuring reliable reporting across Risk, Finance, Product, and Technology.
Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site

What you will do
- Own monthly and quarterly wholesale credit risk reporting for partner teams and regulators.
- Develop detailed business requirements for robust reporting and analytics solutions.
- Monitor data quality, investigate issues, and coordinate resolution across production reporting and project delivery.
- Analyze wholesale risk data for ingestion, measurement, monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
- Translate business requirements into test cases and lead end-to-end testing activities.
- Coordinate project status, risks, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
Requirements
- Experience with IFRS9 Expected Credit Loss reporting and accounting across wholesale and retail portfolios.
- Experience with public disclosures, including MD&A and interim financial reporting, and OSFI regulatory reporting.
- Project delivery experience involving data warehousing and reporting.
- Degree in business, finance, or risk.
- Experience with SQL and BI tools such as Cognos, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Ability to investigate complex problems, communicate detailed information clearly, and work across business and technology teams.
