TL;DR
Director, Operational Excellence & Strategic Initiatives (Manufacturing): Leading cross-functional operational improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations with an accent on KPI performance, data analysis, governance, and standardization. Focus on partnering with the COO and site leaders, driving Lean and Six Sigma projects, building executive dashboards, and implementing organizational changes across multi-site operations.
Location: Lansdale, Pennsylvania, United States; global travel to domestic and international manufacturing sites approximately 4–6 times per year.

What you will do
- Lead cross-functional operational improvement initiatives across manufacturing sites, improving productivity, delivery, cost management, staffing effectiveness, and standardization.
- Act as an execution partner to the COO by supporting strategic and operational priorities.
- Define project scope, build workplans, manage governance, track milestones, and drive accountability.
- Analyze operational, financial, labor, quality, safety, supply chain, headcount, and engagement data to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations, dashboards, business cases, and operational performance summaries.
- Support Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, value stream mapping, standard work, and organizational change initiatives with site and functional leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, engineering, supply chain, finance, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in operations, program management, operational excellence, manufacturing, supply chain, or business operations.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, data interpretation, presentation, and project execution skills.
- Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel; experience with dashboards, KPI reporting, and data visualization tools.
- U.S. Person status is required for authorized access to ITAR-controlled data.
Nice to have
- Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable continuous improvement certification.
- Change management methodology experience, such as Prosci.
- Manufacturing experience in a multi-site operating environment.
