Autonomous Vehicle Operations Manager (Fleet Deployment and Readiness)

Location: Miami, Florida, United States; onsite daily. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by fleet operations.

What you will do

• Develop fleet health and deployment strategies with the General Manager.
• Assess site and fleet performance and ensure every vehicle is deployment-ready.
• Lead diagnostics, predictive maintenance, technical upgrades, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Analyze fleet performance data, monitor KPIs, and report findings to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with product teams, ride-hail operations managers, vendors, and partners to maximize vehicles in service.
• Build and lead the Fleet Deployment and Readiness team, ensuring staffing, coaching, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience leading and developing vehicle technicians in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive vehicle systems and related infrastructure; autonomous vehicle experience is preferred.
• Proven project management, work-order triage, vehicle-flow management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship and residence in Miami, Florida with daily onsite availability are required.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with the Kaizen framework and daily incremental process and system improvements.
