Senior Corporate Counsel (Payments)

What you will do

• Provide strategic, practical legal advice supporting business growth and commercial decision-making.
• Lead complex agreements and negotiations with clients, partners, and vendors.
• Advise on legal and regulatory requirements for new products and services.
• Drive risk management across regulatory compliance, data privacy, intellectual property, and contractual commitments.
• Maintain legal templates and frameworks in line with regulatory and industry developments.
• Lead lawyers and support staff while managing legal priorities across customer-facing, operational, and corporate teams.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, including prerequisites for obtaining and maintaining a license to practice law.
• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience, including 5–6 years in a managerial role.
• Strong transactional legal experience with agreements, negotiations, and commercial decisions.
• Experience in financial services or the payments industry.
• Strong business counseling, negotiation, client service, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading lawyers and support staff and managing multiple priorities.
