Engineer - Facilities - Fulltime (Harrah's LV)

What you will do

• Repair and maintain water heaters, pumps, plumbing systems, electrical equipment, refrigeration systems, boilers, and central-plant equipment.
• Perform scheduled weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual preventative maintenance and accurately record maintenance data.
• Install new equipment and systems while following manufacturer recommendations, local regulations, state standards, and NEC requirements.
• Maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment and coordinate with outside contractors and vendors.
• Prepare bills of materials, organize tools and parts, and complete assignments safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Train less-experienced personnel on building electrical equipment and systems and respond promptly to guest complaints.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old and work on-site in Las Vegas, Nevada.
• Proficient spoken and written English.
• Availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with plumbing, welding, low- and high-voltage electrical systems, refrigeration, chillers, pumps, compressors, boilers, and controls.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical specifications; input and retrieve data using basic computer tools.
• Valid Nevada driver's license, ability to lift 75 pounds, and ability to work in confined, dusty, and varied climate conditions.
