Junior Data Developer (AI/Data)

Location: Remote in Brazil

What you will do

• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Assist with data infrastructure components such as data lakes and warehouses.
• Apply data quality checks and monitor data consistency and reliability.
• Help integrate data sources with analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
• Use AI tools and automation to support data engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Basic familiarity with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Exposure to data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar tools.
• Proficiency with SQL and basic knowledge of Python or another programming language.
• Foundational understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Ability to work remotely from Brazil.

Nice to have

• Academic or personal projects involving data pipelines or analytics.
• Exposure to dbt, Airflow, Git, or modern data stack tools.
• Interest in AI/ML or data science concepts.
• Spanish communication skills.
• Cloud or data-related certifications or completed online courses.
