Director, Product Management and Design - Manufacturing Execution and Planning (AI)

Location: Space Coast, Florida, United States. Relocation is provided, and travel is expected up to 30% of the time. The role includes regular work on the factory floor.

What you will do

• Define the strategy, roadmap, and priorities for Manufacturing Execution Systems and Production Planning systems.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of product managers and UX designers.
• Partner with manufacturing engineers, technicians, production planners, and operations executives to solve critical production problems.
• Improve the allocation of materials, machines, and labor while increasing yields and reducing defects.
• Apply AI skills to deliver results and improve decision-making and planning processes.
• Build partnerships with leaders across software engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and business units.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of product and software experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles managing teams.
• Experience in manufacturing or production planning and solving manufacturing problems through software.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs, competing priorities, schedules, and budgets.
• Strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in AI harnesses and coding tools.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.

Nice to have

• Deep aerospace industry experience and familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, and EAR standards.
• Master’s degree or relevant experience in business and finance.
