Staff Operational Excellence Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Raynham, Massachusetts, United States of America; onsite role with up to 10% domestic and international travel to other locations and sites.

Base pay: $94,000–$151,800 per year.

What you will do

• Develop strategic plans, measurable goals, and performance improvement initiatives for manufacturing, supply chain, and plant processes.
• Lead improvement projects from current-state assessment through implementation, standardization, and results comparison against world-class standards.
• Deploy JJPS, Six Sigma, process excellence, and lean manufacturing initiatives, including cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain performance measurement systems and report project results, risks, and progress to plant management.
• Train manufacturing, supply chain, materials, and other stakeholders on systems, process improvements, and change implementation.
• Coordinate project leaders and technically supervise operational excellence engineering technicians where applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or university degree in engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in supervision, administration, and project direction; 6 years is preferred.
• Experience with process excellence, SPC, DMAIC, Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, strategy development, and change management.
• Knowledge of materials systems, inventory, supply chain, product cost, finance, quality, production techniques, and manufacturing operations.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills required.
• Strong analytical, strategic, communication, project leadership, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and similar tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with medical products and technical studies.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification or progress toward Master Black Belt certification.
• Experience across different plant areas and familiarity with AutoCAD.
