What you will do
- Own the React Native mobile client, including a versioned JSON-based clinical decision tree and on-device danger-sign flagging.
- Build and maintain an offline-first data layer with encrypted local storage using SQLite with SQLCipher through op-sqlite or expo-sqlite.
- Drive synchronization between the mobile client and backend for intermittent-connectivity field conditions, including conflict resolution.
- Define the boundary between deterministic clinical logic on the client and AI-assisted features on the server.
- Collaborate with backend and AI specialists on clear technical contracts and integrations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on React Native development with TypeScript.
- At least one production Android application shipped, rather than only maintained.
- Experience with offline-first mobile architecture, encrypted local storage, SQLite or SQLCipher, synchronization, and conflict resolution.
- Experience debugging state and synchronization transitions across offline and online modes.
- Ability to optimize applications for low-spec Android hardware, including memory, storage, and battery constraints.
- English: B2+ required. Familiarity with Android build tooling, mobile CI/testing pipelines, and agentic AI development tools is expected.
