National Account Manager (Retail) - Myprotein

Location: Hybrid role at THG ICON 1, 7-9 Sunbank Lane, Manchester, UK

What you will do

• Manage and develop relationships with key grocery and retail customers across the UK.
• Deliver sales, margin, distribution, and customer profitability targets.
• Create and execute Joint Business Plans and lead pricing, promotion, range review, and listing negotiations.
• Identify opportunities to grow category performance and market share.
• Collaborate with marketing, category, supply chain, finance, and demand planning teams.
• Manage forecasting, promotional planning, performance reporting, and new product distribution.

Requirements

• Proven national account management experience within FMCG or consumer goods.
• Experience managing major grocery or retail accounts.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, influencing, analytical, and forecasting skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with buyers, category managers, and senior retail stakeholders.
• Strong project and time management skills in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda, Waitrose, Co-op, or Ocado.
• Knowledge of category management principles and retailer processes.
• Experience in health and wellness, snacking, beverages, or high-growth FMCG brands.
• Familiarity with Nielsen or Circana syndicated data platforms.
