VP, Global Head of Trust & Safety (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with available locations in Austin, Texas; San Francisco, California; or Washington, D.C. Candidates progressing to the offer stage may be asked to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

Salary: $325,000–$447,000 annual salary for San Francisco Bay Area hires; $311,000–$427,000 annual salary for Washington, D.C. hires. Compensation may vary by work location.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a globally distributed Trust & Safety team operating 24/7/365.
• Design and build a Trust & Safety function for a highly technical company operating in the age of AI.
• Create and maintain policies and protocols for legal information requests, abuse complaints, online fraud, account security, and user trust.
• Identify automation opportunities and work with engineers to build tools that improve consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
• Partner with Legal, Policy, Security, Communications, Support, Product, and Engineering leaders on complex and sensitive issues.
• Represent hirify.global with industry groups, government officials, enterprise customers, and the press, while improving transparency reporting.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience in Trust & Safety, fraud, risk management, threat intelligence, customer support, or policy implementation at scale.
• 8+ years of experience managing large teams and developing senior talent.
• Experience handling law-enforcement and legal requests for customer information.
• Deep technical understanding of how the Internet works and the online service-provider ecosystem.
• Experience resolving complex, sensitive issues under time pressure and managing crises.
• Strong communication, collaboration, consensus-building, analytics, and executive stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience with international intermediary liability and law-enforcement access issues.
