Full Stack Software Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Remote in Portugal, or hybrid/onsite in Coimbra, Portugal; availability for in-person meetings at the Coimbra office is expected at least once per month.

Salary: €30,000–€40,000 gross annually

What you will do

• Participate in feature specification and UI/UX design with Product Owners and Product Designers.
• Build and maintain responsive, accessible web front ends and reusable UI components.
• Develop and maintain core business services and REST/JSON APIs with .NET.
• Design software architecture for high availability, horizontal scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Optimize applications, improve security and quality, and maintain coding standards through code reviews.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a related field, with a strong technical background.
• Solid knowledge of C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript front-end development.
• Knowledge of relational databases, particularly SQL Server, as well as software architecture and design patterns.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle processes, reliability, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Fluent English and the ability to attend required in-person meetings in Coimbra.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET web frameworks such as Blazor.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Experience with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
