Character Animator (Motion Capture)

Location: Yerevan, Armenia; role information also lists Belgrade, Serbia. Workplace information includes on-site in Yerevan and hybrid/remote work options.

What you will do

• Create keyframe and motion-capture animation for humanoid and creature characters according to client quality requirements.
• Deliver high-quality animation assets with minimal Lead Artist involvement.
• Communicate task progress and obtain guidance or approval from the Lead Artist when needed.
• Refine animation skills and learn new software packages and in-house tools.
• Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Maya or MotionBuilder, including when to use each tool.
• Familiarity with game engine technologies such as Unity and Unreal Engine.
• Good understanding of posing, timing, spacing, and exaggeration.
• Experience with motion-capture post-processing, overlay animation, retargeting, story, and constraints.
• Ability to receive constructive feedback, communicate effectively, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team.
• Flexibility in using different software packages.
