What you will do

• Transcribe Japanese audio while capturing content, context, speaker nuances, and linguistic details.
• Review, edit, and validate human-created and machine-generated transcripts.
• Correct errors, inconsistencies, and ambiguities in transcripts.
• Add metadata and contextual annotations according to project requirements.
• Use transcription and audio-review tools while following project guidelines and quality standards.
• Provide linguistic and cultural insights to support AI model improvement.

Requirements

• Native or near-native Japanese fluency with strong spoken and written comprehension.
• Experience in audio transcription, linguistic review, localization, or related language work.
• Familiarity with transcription tools, annotation platforms, or audio-review workflows.
• English proficiency required for project instructions and occasional English content.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

• Experience with AI training or data annotation projects.
• Background in language technology or speech-data projects.
• Ability to identify subtle differences in pronunciation, language, and context.
