TL;DR
Cyber SecDevOps Professional (Cybersecurity): Building, maintaining, and improving centralized security management, monitoring, log ingestion, and reporting platforms for global BT Security SOCs with an accent on Linux administration, vulnerability remediation, firewall management, and resilient platform engineering. Focus on integrating SOAR automation, maintaining secure and available infrastructure, and solving complex monitoring, networking, virtualization, and incident-management challenges.
Location: Hybrid role in Budapest or Debrecen, Hungary; smart working model with 3 days together and 2 days wherever
Benefits include a cafeteria package of HUF 600,000 per year; no base salary is specified.

What you will do
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot centralized security management, monitoring, log ingestion, and reporting platforms.
- Maintain the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of security platforms across Windows, Linux, ESXi, and firewall environments.
- Upgrade, patch, remediate, and conduct vulnerability scans across underlying systems.
- Build custom applications and resilient systems, administer users and groups, and maintain firewall configurations and policies.
- Review technical design documentation, maintain knowledgebase articles, and collaborate with teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Design and improve SOC processes and workflows using Security Orchestration, Automation and Response tools.
Requirements
- Practical experience in general IT and security operations, Linux systems administration, and IP networks and protocols.
- Linux installation, configuration, management, and maintenance skills.
- Knowledge of patching, virtualization, troubleshooting, network administration, and firewall troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ticketing, change management, and IT service management processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies independently and work in demanding commercial environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with Windows administration, PowerShell, Active Directory, DNS, SSH, shell scripting, and SELinux.
- Experience with Fortinet, Cisco, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability monitoring, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Grafana, Prometheus, or security analytics.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Git, Python, Perl, Java, Go, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or ServiceNow.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Network+, Security+, CSA+, or CEH.
